A highly regarded speaker, Jaime appears regularly as a public affairs commentator in the media, including in his own weekly segment on the CBC News Network’s popular Power and Politics programme, and on its flagship news programme The National with Peter Mansbridge.
Loudon Owen, Director
Loudon Owen is lawyer and venture capitalist. He co-founded McLean Watson Capital, which invests in and advises growth companies. He has served in numerous capacities as a volunteer with a deep commitment to health and education.
Jordy Chilcott, Director
Jordy’s support of Isthmus is inspired by the clear need that the program addresses. Recognising that there was a fundamental gap when school systems were supporting the nutrition needs of children while they were in their charge, which is in itself a wonderful step forward, Isthmus fills the void once that child leaves the school property. This allows for the benefit that has been built to not be lost during periods away from school. It is understood that life may be challenging enough for the youth involved in this program and if helping them worry about one less basic need can be accomplished relatively easily, it is Jordy’s hope the cycle of need can be broken.
